| On July 28, 2005 House Bill 420 was introduced by State Representative Mathew Good and sent to The Game and Fisheries Committee. | ||
| On April 25, 2006 HB420 was passed in the Game and Fisheries Committee and was sent on to the whole House of Representatives for consideration. | ||

On June 19, 2006 HB420 resoundingly passed the House of Representatives with a vote of 194 to 3. HB420 has now been sent
to the Senate where it is currently awaiting consideration in the Senate Game and Fisheries committee.
DRP asks at this time for you to contact the Game and Fisheries Committee members and your local State Senator and ask them for their support of this bill. If you are unfamiliar with contacting state officials, there is excellent guidance available at this link. This all must be done quickly because we only have until the end of the year to get this bill fully passed into law or we will have to start all over again. | ||
| January, 2007 – Unfortunately our bill got caught up in politics again and did not get out of the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee. We will be introducing a new bill again this year. | ||
